About Me


My name is Emily Askwyth, I am a 22 year old Senior at the University of Tampa studying Communication with a concentration in Media Studies as well as two minors in Public Relations and Advertising with an interest in Branding and Corporate Marketing which I am currently pursuing as a Marketing Intern for SkyBridge Resources, a staffing agency whose headquarters is here in Tampa Florida. Not only has learning about Digital Media been interesting and fun, it has provided me with information that is extremely useful for my career as a Marketing Specialist as I create my own content for clients, such as the social media graphics and newsletters I have created for work. I am excited to use all that I have learned from these assignments to further enhance my career as I continue to grow and learn more.

I liked having the freedom to choose what we wanted to create, and become more comfortable creating these visuals. This was another technique that I have seen before, so it was cool to understand how it is done. It was cool to watch this project go from looking messy and tossed together to blended and kind of realistic looking. It’s definitely a funny image, but I grew a lot more comfortable and confident in my skills from this project.
